Job Title : CAD/CAM Designer – Laser Cutting Machine Programmer

**Responsibilities: **

• Design CNC programs for laser cutting machines using CAD/CAM software to ensure precise and efficient operations.
• Use SolidWorks and other CAD software to design and modify parts for sheet metal fabrication.
• Interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications to create accurate cutting paths and programs.
• Create and edit laser cut files from CAD drawings in various formats.
• Ensure all programs meet required quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments to improve precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Identify and resolve issues or errors in the programming and cutting process to maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain detailed records of programs, setups, and modifications for future reference and compliance.
• Possess a strong knowledge of laser cutting principles, material properties, and cutting parameters.

**Requirements: **

• Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in CNC laser cutting programming and sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software, specifically SolidWorks, and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in programming and design tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
